With a view over the Øresund, there stands a villa that, after its construction in the late 19th century, has been altered and extended several times. The most recent major renovation took place in the 1930s when polar explorer Lauge Koch moved in. Based on a thorough historical analysis of the building, the villa will undergo a complete restoration both inside and out. The upcoming work involves returning elements to their original state, introducing new building components, restoration, and a new spatial layout. All of this is aimed at creating a renewed setting with historical references.
Med udsigt over Øresund ligger en villa som, efter sin opførelse i slutningen af attenhundredetallet, er blevet om- og tilbygget flere gange. Seneste gennemgribende ombygning var i 1930erne da Polarforsker Lauge Koch flyttede ind. Med udgangspunkt i en grundig bygningshistorisk analyse skal villaen totalistandsættes inde og ude. Forestående arbejder omhandler tilbageførelse, indførelse af nye bygningskomponenter, restaurering og ny plan disponering. Alt sammen med henblik på at danne nye rammer med historiske referencer.
